It can support healthcare organizations as they prevent and monitor illnesses. It can help to keep an organization running efficiently. Sometimes there is more of a feeling of contributing to society than in other technical jobs. However, working with healthcare data is often bogged-down by low quality source data and obstacles from within teams. Also, as in other fields, there may be an emphasis on profit rather than improving services rendered. The information on this website will help a reader to be alert to data and personnel problems that can drag a healthcare IT project down.Software developers and data wranglers are the intended audience, but managers will find it helpful to know what issues the technical staff face. Often managers are unaware of the obstacles which must be overcome daily to navigate and salvage data.
